Guna Assessment
Based on the Bhagavad Gita
This assessment measures the three gunas - sattva (purity), rajas (passion), and tamas (inertia) - as described in the Bhagavad Gita. These are the three fundamental qualities of nature that influence all beings.
How to Answer
- Answer based on how you actually are, not how you wish to be
- Choose the option that most closely reflects your current patterns
- For slider questions, position the slider where you honestly feel you fall
- If none of the options fit, choose "None of these" or skip the question
- There are no right or wrong answers - only honest self-observation
- Your first instinct is usually most accurate
The predominance of gunas changes throughout your life based on your choices, habits, diet, company, and spiritual practices. This assessment reflects your present state. Through sadhana and conscious effort, you can transform the quality of your mind and actions.
Regular practice of meditation, self-discipline, service, and following dharma gradually increases sattva. Even if tamas or rajas predominates now, this can change through sustained effort.

Your Guna Assessment
A Note on This Assessment: This test reflects tendencies and patterns at this particular moment in your life. The gunas are not fixed qualities - they shift constantly based on choices, practices, company, diet, and circumstances. Take these results as observations, not absolutes. They're meant to support self-reflection and growth, not to define or limit you. With conscious effort and regular practice, the predominance of gunas can be transformed.
