About this item
This book is a path-breaking publication, for it dislodges the long-held belief that Hinduism is synonymous with sanātana dharma. With an elaborate introduction to sanātana dharma, prudently compared with the world religions, the author derives much from the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who taught ‘love all, serve all’ and promulgated that there is only one religion – the religion of love. The author argues his point with an inclusive approach to the world religions. At the same time, he points out the exclusivity of sanātana dharma.

For all those who are mixed up about Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma, this book is a real eye-opener. It has made the subject as clear as separating milk from water. Even though I am a Hindu, I never knew that Santana Dharma is actually a universal Dharma. Good that I read this book. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories, nuggets, and the pictures that form an interesting part of the book!
As a westerner, I always felt confused with the Indian concepts. But my search for truth led to this book and it seems divine grace only that with this book all my misconceptions got cleared. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about the new-age educational institutions based on Sanatana Dharma.
Being a teacher, I can gauge the phenomenal research work that must have gone into the making of this book. The author is very well-read as is evident from all the inclusions overlaying the main text. A very good book for students who are interested in Indian scriptures and philosophies.
